Want to see your character come to life like in a cartoon?
This fun workshop, led by the Animator Training Center (CFA), introduces children and pre-teens to the stop motion animation technique, widely used in many films and video games.

Participants start by imagining and drawing a character and their world. Then, they learn to animate it frame by frame by taking a series of slightly different photos and assembling them to create the illusion of movement.

This technique is still used in cinema, advertising, and some games for its unique charm and aesthetic (for example, in films like The Nightmare Before Christmas or Coraline). The workshop reveals the basics of animation while encouraging creativity and patience, and offers a behind-the-scenes look at a real animation studio.

Accessible and fun, it gives everyone the satisfaction of seeing their character come alive right before their eyes!
