50 Rats Games is an independent video game studio based in Mons, Belgium, mainly composed of former members from the Gaming program at Technocité. The studio is still in its preparatory phase and is currently following the “Test Your Studio” program by Azimut Entreprendre.

They define mystery as the overall atmosphere of a game, a feeling that comes from a combination of storytelling, artistic direction, music, and sometimes even game design.

They strongly believe that they can create this feeling regardless of the genre or theme of the game, though some genres are more naturally compatible, such as detective games, horror games, experimental games, puzzle games, etc.

The game they are presenting, Balla: As The Music Goes, is a 3D third-person musical adventure game. Explore diverse biomes, uncover melodies to call, assist, and interact with the world and its inhabitants using your Kalimba! Take your time to wander and fill this world with notes—music is waiting for you!
