Event

Witch Gamez • Vigylence

Saturday 27 September /

Schedule

10:00 - 22:00

Witch Gamez is a Belgian feminist activist collective, supported by the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, working to expose and combat sexism in the video game sector.
Using the witch as their symbol, the collective offers a space to share key facts, practical tips, and useful tools to counter sexist behaviour, with the aim of driving both social and legal change.

Vigylence

Vigylence is an educational video game created by Arts & Publics between February 2023 and April 2024, designed to raise awareness among teenagers (14+) about possible gender-based violence during a medical appointment.
The main character, Charlie — a duck wearing a colourful bucket hat — is going to her first gynaecological appointment.

With three different scenarios, the gameplay explores the challenges of listening, consent, intimacy, and wellbeing.
Each choice is represented by a unique symbol.

A teaching guide accompanies the game to support educational and wellbeing organisations, helping to foster further reflection on health, sexual wellbeing, and the fight against gender-based violence.
